Next to the castle ruins in the village of Szendrő, a 25-meter-high wooden lookout tower was built in 2012. The tower offers a beautiful 360-degree panorama. L'Huillier-Coburg Mansion in the town of Edelény is one of the largest palaces in Hungary. This beautiful example of early Baroque architecture was built by Jean-Francois L'Huillier, who comes from Alsace-Lorraine in France. Nearby is the well-known Templomkert restaurant. Also nearby is the exceptional cave complex of Aggtelek National Park and Szádvár Castle.
